Investment Officer

Scott Hendershott graduated from Bloomsburg in 2015 with degrees in Finance and Business Economics. Upon graduation, Scott worked at The Vanguard Group, Inc where he held several roles within their Investment Operation division. His most final role there was assigned to Vanguard’s Quantitative Equity Group where he assisted Portfolio Managers and Traders with trade execution, liquidity management, and other portfolio management functions. Scott left Vanguard in March 2020 and joined Sageworth Trust Company as an Investment Officer. At Sageworth, Scott is responsible for administering ultra high net worth client’s investment accounts which includes trading, rebalancing, and cash and liquidity management. While at Bloomsburg, Scott established the Bloomsburg Investment Group, a student-lead investment portfolio under the Bloomsburg University Foundation where he currently serves as a Board Member. Scott also serves as a board member for the Bloomsburg University Zeigler College of Business Advisory Board and the Lanco Federal Credit Union.  Scott is the Owner Operator of a residential rental real estate portfolio in Lancaster City.  In his free time, Scott enjoys bicycle racing, running, and DIY home projects.
