Maximum awards of $1,000 ($500 for fall semester and $500 for spring semester) will be made to selected students. |
| Eligibility: |
|
- Recipients of the Stayman Foundation Scholarship must live in Altoona.
- The student must be a full-time undergraduate student who plans to enroll at Indiana University of Pennsylvania or Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.
- The student must have financial need as determined by the standard financial need requirements of the universities.

| Selection Procedure: |
|
Recipients of this scholarship shall be selected by the appropriate scholarship committees of PASSHE universities. If equivalent needs exist among two or more candidates, then the standard calculation of predicted college GPA should be used. The university financial aid officers exercising professional judgment that considers extenuating circumstances, may adjust the financial need calculation. The amount of the scholarship will not exceed $1,000 in the academic year. The scholarships may not replace the eligibility for federal and state grants.
Each university financial aid office will establish procedures to award the scholarships, based on the above conditions. |
| Number of Awards: |
|
The number of annual scholarships is dependent on available funding. Indiana University and Lock Haven University will be notified each spring regarding the number of scholarships available for their students.

| Deadline: |
|
June 30 |
Universities submit the names of students who will receive the scholarships to the PASSHE Foundation. |
| |
October 1 |
Confirm enrollment of scholarships students and invoice the PASSHE Foundation. A check will be forwarded to the university. |
